EZGrow Hanger Installation

It is best to locate your ceiling joists so that you can install screw hooks directly into the wood for a secure installation. (Good quality toggle bolts and/or screw anchors can also be used if installed properly.)

Ceiling joists are usually installed either 16 or 24 inches on center, which means roughly 16 or 24 inches apart. Once you’ve located the first one, the others are easier to find.

The EZGrow® Hanger wires do not have to be perpendicular, (exactly at right angles). It is okay for them to extend in or out a few inches in order to take advantage of securing them to your ceiling joists.

Once you have located your joists and have determined which way they run, it may be helpful to raise your LED light frame to the ceiling and mark the nearest locations where the joists are. Then it is a simple matter of screwing in the screw hooks and attaching the EZGrow® Hangers.
